Chubby Bunny Bows

Michelle began working with Sanrio on handmade Hello Kitty headband bows back in 2009. Originally pitched as an item to be worn by their workers at an event, the President of the company discovered the sample in an empty meeting room and insisted on selling at the upcoming event. Since then, Michelle’s bows have been featured on celebrities on various programs such as Gordon Ramsey’s Master Chef Junior, and used in fashion campaigns for brands like Sephora, Hanky Panky, and Loungefly.

While producing thousands of bows a year, Michelle also launched her own line of accessories and clothing, aimed at the “kawaii” audience. She also has done styling work for niche interest brands such as We Love Fine and Loot Crate, and has styled dozens of photo shoots for print and digital media.

Hanky Panky x Hello Kitty

Michelle’s bows were used in promotional material for the launch of the collaboration between lingerie brand Hanky Panky and Hello Kitty.

Hello Kitty x Sephora

Michelle’s pink Hello Kitty bows were supplied to every major Sephora retailer for retail workers during the launch of the first Hello Kitty x Sephora makeup collaboration launch in 2009.
